2 Thessalonians: May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.
With the upheaval in Ukraine, this is one way to pray; to open our hearts to God's infinite love. For in our hearts, we find peace. Peace is Christ's gift to us. Peace is what our world needs, as well as love.

Matthew: Then the people of Jerusalem and all Judea were going out to him, and all the region along the Jordan,

Philippians: circumcised on the eighth day, a member of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew born of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee;
Colossians: Put to death, therefore, whatever in you is earthly: fornication, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed (which is idolatry).
1 Thessalonians: For this reason, when I could bear it no longer, I sent to find out about your faith; I was afraid that somehow the tempter had tempted you and that our labor had been in vain.

1 Timothy: for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how can he take care of God’s church?
2 Timothy: holding to the outward form of godliness but denying its power. Avoid them!
Titus: he saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy, through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
Hebrews: Now Moses was faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that would be spoken later.
James: So also the tongue is a small member, yet it boasts of great exploits. How great a forest is set ablaze by a small fire!
1 Peter: It was in this way long ago that the holy women who hoped in God used to adorn themselves by accepting the authority of their husbands.
2 Peter: They deliberately ignore this fact, that by the word of God heavens existed long ago and an earth was formed out of water and by means of water,
1 John: You know that he was revealed to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.
Revelation: If you conquer, you will be clothed like them in white robes, and I will not blot your name out of the book of life; I will confess your name before my Father and before his angels.
